The 11th Joint International Conference of the Indian Society for Malaria and Other Communicable Diseases(ISMOCD) and Indian Association of Epidemiologists(IAE)is proposed to be held at Bengaluru during the dates 10th to 12th June, 2016.
Emerging Infectious and Non Communicable diseases continue to torment mankind and economies. Progress has been made on understanding, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and control of these Vector Borne diseases. Progressive research leads to reshaped policies and the process of planning moves forward.
Conferences provide a platform where budding and established Scientists, Programme Managers, Health care Professionals, Policy Makers, Manufacturers and general public interact and exchange views. The dialogue helps to sharpen focus with an aim to reduce the burden of disease to insignificant levels.
Elimination of these diseases, is now a viable option.
India is now 'Digital India' and is complementing the 'Swachh Baharat' initiative in a big way. Therefore digital planning to enhance public health in all fronts is a focal point. The conference envisages to develop on ideas using the digital planning approach for better governance in public health system.
